Personal Trainer Foods Challenge
Dexter takes on the Personal Trainer Foods Challenge — day 1 impressions of this prepared meal delivery service for fitness enthusiasts.

As a trainer at Dexter Tenison Fitness, I’m always looking for solutions that make healthy eating easier for my clients. When Personal Trainer Foods reached out about their prepared meal delivery service, I decided to put it to the test myself before recommending it to anyone.
Welcome to the Personal Trainer Foods Challenge — day 1.
What Is Personal Trainer Foods?
Personal Trainer Foods is a meal delivery service that sends pre-cooked, portion-controlled meals directly to your door. The meals are designed to support fat loss and lean muscle — high protein, moderate fat, low carb. No cooking required. Just heat and eat.
The appeal is obvious: no meal prep, no cooking, no guessing about portions or macros.
Day 1 First Impressions
The Delivery
The package arrived well-insulated and organized. Meals were clearly labeled with heating instructions. Everything looked clean and professional.
Breakfast
Scrambled eggs with turkey sausage. Simple, satisfying, and plenty of protein. Not restaurant-quality, but genuinely good for a pre-made meal. I’ve had worse breakfasts that I cooked myself.
Lunch
Grilled chicken with mixed vegetables. Well-seasoned and properly portioned. The chicken wasn’t dry, which is the biggest test for any prepared meal service. Passed.
Dinner
Beef tips with broccoli. This was the best meal of the day. Good flavor, tender meat, and the broccoli still had some crunch to it. Impressed.
Snack
A protein bar included in the plan. Decent taste, good macros. Nothing revolutionary, but it filled the gap between meals.
Day 1 Verdict
So far, I’m genuinely surprised by the quality. The food tastes better than I expected, the portions feel right, and the convenience factor is undeniable.
At Dexter Tenison Fitness, we always prefer clients cook their own meals. But for busy weeks, travel, or people who simply hate cooking, a service like this could be a solid bridge between fast food and home cooking.
